What Anatabloc Supplement is all About?
Anatabloc is an Anti-Inflammation Joint Supplement that claims to support joint development and reduce chronic inflammation. Due to the alleged reduction in cellular inflammation, Anatabloc is theoretically assumed to help improve conditions caused by arthritis, Alheimers’ disease and heart disease.
The History of Anatabloc
Anatabloc is a product of the Henrico County-based Star Scientific Inc. Anatabloc is however produced through the subsidiary, Rock Creek Pharmaceuticals. Anatabloc is available in big retail stores such as Health and Wellness chain – GNC, Westwood Pharmacy and Westbury Pharmacy among other drug stores.
What’s the Composition of this Supplement?
The active ingredient in anatabloc is anatabine. Anatabine is an alkaloid that is found in plants of the Solanaceae family, such as pepper, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplants, and tobacco! Some plants produce alkaloids mainly for defense purposes since alkaloids may exhibit toxic effects and maybe addictive too (Nicotine, the addictive chemical in tobacco, caffeine and opiates are all alkaloids). Although anatabine and nicotine have a chemical structure that appears to be similar, they have completely different biochemical properties. Anatabine has the ability to halt the transcription of Nuclear Factor-kappa B (NF-kB) making it very important in the fight against inflammation.
Other Ingredients: Vitamin A (as Retinyl Acetate, Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol), Mannitol, Sucralose, Natural and Artificial Mint Flavors, Silicon Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Stearate, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Titanium Dioxide (color), Methylparaben, Natural Glaze, Propylparaben, Citric Acid, Triethyl Citrate, BHT, Mono and Diglycerides, and Polysorbate 80
What The Anatabloc Supplement Can do for You?
Anatabloc is marketed as an inflammatory agent. When you take a pill or a lozenge of antabloc, the active ingredient, anatabine, interacts with proteins in your body cells creating a kind of ‘new cell’. The ‘new cell’ has a structure that acts as a natural anti-inflammatory agent initiating a self-anti-inflammation defense mechanism in your body. This mechanism is touted to be very effective in fighting against chronic pain.
Do I Need a Prescription for Anatabloc?
Anatabloc is sold over the counter in most retail outlets and internet stores. You don’t need a prescription to purchase anatabloc.
Can I Take Anatabloc With Other Medication?
Anatabloc doesn’t contain any ingredient that reacts with medication and therefore, it should be safe to use with other medication. However, it is recommended that you consult your physician for advice if you are taking prescription medication.

The Manufacturer, Star Scientific, has released over 15 different news releases since April 2010 detailing or announcing several company-supported research studies that suggest that anatabine can extenuate the underlying causes of multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, traumatic brain injuries and thyroiditis. Although Star Scientific has not made explicit claims that anatabine can cure all these diseases, the company maintains that anatabine’s anti-inflammatory properties could have the power to mitigate such ailments. However, by the time of writing, no independent research had been published on the same or any other healing capabilities of anatabloc.
Customer Feedback About Anatabloc
There are a lot of mixed feelings regarding anatabloc on social media, consumer websites and forums. In most of the consumer websites selling the product, there are a lot of touting consumer feedbacks with review sites such as Amazon running claims that anatabloc can help with skin rash, chronic sinusitis, and joint pain. In a handful of other reviews sampled, consumers complained that anatabloc is quite expensive, causes stomach upset and doesn’t work at all. In one scenario, Richard L. Sharp, retired CarMax executive, said that he took anatabloc continuously for over a year and his Alzheimer condition didn’t improve any bit. Instead, Sharp says he lost a lot of weight.
After carefully examining the research available on the active ingredient, we drew a conclusion that if indeed Anatabloc works, it will only work to counter inflammation. While pain can be directly related to inflammation, attacking inflammation does not necessarily fix the root source of the problem. A good joint supplement will address both the pain and tackle the problem from the source. A lot of research still needs to be done to prove that Anatabloc will help arthritis pain, multiple sclerosis and confirm that Star Scientific is not misleading people with their marketing. As much as it has had its fair share of controversy, Antabloc is produced by a reputable company that has access to high end research facilities. Nevertheless, it will not hurt to look at better performing anti-inflammation supplements.
